On that beautiful day when I was born in Kenya, I don’t know what they said or thought. My Dad said he was scared silly, perhaps because their previous child hadn’t made it into the world alive. Afterwards, he was so proud, and it showed most of the time he walked this earth. I’m grateful I had such a loving father.
Well, here I am now, older than my parents were when they had me. Still wending my way through the world, not quite having settled down in any of the ways society puts so much stock in: education, career, marriage and children; not necessarily in that order. It bothers me sometimes, but it seems to bother others more. I don’t worry about it, though; I live.
When I was younger, I wanted to grow up and become an Architect. As a young adult, I set my heart on becoming a Journalist. Now I’m a Jill of many trades, trying to become a Mistress of one. Or three.
I’m passionate about writing, so it’s the thing I’m earnestly pursuing presently. I’m wild about music, too–singing it, writing it, playing it, recording it. Mal sehen wo es hinführt. Web Design is tantalizing, as is painting–I just love colors! So you can see why I’m a jill-of-many-trades. Got my nose in all these things.
